Unsolved Crimes 2016-Present

12/17/17 Ronald Parker, age 45

At approximately 3:45 a.m., the Trenton Police Department and the Mercer County Homicide Task Force responded to Asbury and Steamboat streets where a white Acura had collided with a fence. They found the driver, identified as Parker, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

9/16/17 Shawn Harrell, age 40

At approximately 2:26 a.m. the Trenton Police Department and MCHTF responded to a shots fired call in the area of Power Street. TEMS and the Trenton Fire Department were also dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival of first responders, they located a black male lying on the street. The male was identified as Shawn Harrell and was unconscious and unresponsive. Harrell was bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported in critical condition to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

9/15/17 Anthony Flowers, age 43

At approximately 9:22 p.m., Trenton police responded to the area of 538 Lamberton Street for a shooting in progress. Responding officers located Anthony Flowers unresponsive in the vestibule of 538 Lamberton Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second female victim was located in the kitchen of 538 Lamberton Street suffering from a non-life threating gunshot wound to the left arm. She was transported to the hospital, treated and released.

8/10/17 Kyronne Hazel, age 35

At approximately 9:10 p.m., Trenton police responded to the area of 456 Lamberton Street for a shooting in progress. Responding officers located Kyronne Hazel responsive on the sidewalk in the area of 456 Lamberton Street. EMS was detailed and transported Hazel to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

8/4/17 Jerome Thomas, age 21

At approximately 7:50 p.m., Trenton police officers were dispatched to the area of 682 Southard Street on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival of first responders, they located a black male lying in the street. The male was identified as Jerome J. Thomas, and was unconscious and unresponsive. Thomas was bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

7/31/2017 Jermaine Austin, age 37

At approximately 10:05 p.m., Trenton police officers were dispatched to the area of 1158 East State Street on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival of first responders, they located a black male lying on the sidewalk. The male was identified as Jermain Austin, and was unconscious and unresponsive. Austin was bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

7/18/17 Kyler Bragg, age 15

At approximately 9:45 p.m., Trenton police officers were dispatched to the area of Division and Hewitt streets on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival of first responders, they located a black male lying on the sidewalk. The male was later identified as Kyler Bragg. He was unconscious and unresponsive, and bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital and died two days later.

There were two additional shooting victims from this incident with non-life threatening injuries.

6/28/17 Daren Joseph, age 29

At approximately 9:35 p.m., Trenton police officers were dispatched to the area of 120 Miller Street on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival of first responders, they located a black male lying in the street next to a running vehicle that was partially on the sidewalk. The male was later identified as Daren Joseph. He was bleeding from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

6/8/17 Lewis Young, age 30

At approximately 8:30 p.m., Young was shot while driving in the city. Following the shooting, Young was driven by a passenger to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

5/25/17 Manei Glover, age 22

At approximately 1:43 p.m., Trenton police responded to the 100 block of North Hermitage Avenue on reports of shots fired and people struck by the gunfire. Preliminary investigation revealed that four individuals were sitting in a minivan with a fifth individual standing near the driver’s door when a vehicle pulled alongside the minivan and began firing multiple shots. Three victims, a 22-year-old female, a 48-year-old man and a 74-year-old man, were transported to the hospital for gunshot wounds. The female, identified as Manei Glover, was pronounced dead a short time later. An autopsy confirmed that Glover was pregnant at the time of her death. The 48-year-old victim suffered a gunshot to the hip and the 74-year-old victim suffered a gunshot to the neck.

A vehicle that was reported stolen and is a possible suspect vehicle was recovered by police.

3/23/17 Marquis Saunders, age 23

At approximately 7:40 p.m., Trenton police were dispatched to the side of 55 Cleveland Avenue of a report of a man down in the alley. Upon arrival, officers located a black male unconscious and unresponsive, bleeding from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim, identified as 23-year-old Marquis Saunders of Hamilton, was pronounced dead at the scene.

2/22/17 Michael Brancolino Jr., age 53

At approximately 3:40 p.m., Trenton police officers responded to the area of Hamilton Avenue/Hudson Street on a report of multiple gunshots being fired and a man down. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim lying in the street in front of 119 Hudson Street suffering from a gunshot wound.

1/30/17 Tian Thompson, age 34

At approximately 8 p.m., Trenton police responded to the 500 block of Brunswick Avenue after the Shot Spotter gunshot detection system activated for multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, officers found Thompson in the doorway of Dee Dee’s Lounge & Liquor store suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head. The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.

11/15/16 Hakeim Blackshear, age 27

At approximately 12:30 a.m., the Shot Spotter gunshot detection system activated for gunshots in the area of the 1400 block of Edgewood Avenue. 911 callers then reported shots fired and a person shot in front of 1413 Edgewood Avenue. Upon arrival, Trenton police officers located the victim, Hakiem Blackshear, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead minutes later.

9/11/16 Kordrese Robinson, age 21 & Jahday Twisdale, age 16

At approximately 3:15 a.m., the Shot Spotter gunshot detection system activated for gunshots in the area of 826 Greenwood Avenue. Trenton police officers arrived and located the two victims in front of the convenience store at 800 Greenwood Avenue. Each man was suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. Both were pronounced dead at the scene. A third shooting victim underwent emergency surgery at the hospital.

9/2/16 Jamal Laramore, age 20

At approximately 7 p.m., Trenton police communications received a call reporting multiple gunshots fired and a man shot in an alley near Roosevelt Street (determined to be English Alley). Trenton police officers responded to the scene and the hospital. At the hospital, officers located the victim, Jamal Laramore-Davis, who had been driven to the hospital by a civilian. The victim was pronounced dead a short time later.

7/30/16 Nolman Vidal Rodriguez, age 24

At approximately 9 p.m., Shot Spotter gunshot detection system activated for gunshots in the area of 627 Greenwood Avenue. Trenton police officers arrived and located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to the hospital and was pronounced dead the next day. He had been at a young girl’s birthday party being held in the front yard of 628 Greenwood Avenue.

6/1/16 Elvin Grimsley, age 38

At approximately 6:30 p.m., Trenton police communications received a call for a male victim who was shot while inside of a vehicle in the area of Elmer Street and Whittaker Avenue, Trenton. Emergency personnel responded to the area and located the scene. The male victim, identified as Elvin Grimsley, sustained at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

1/20/16 Tyquise Timmons, age 21

At approximately 8:30 p.m., Trenton police received a call for a shooting in progress and a male shot on the porch of 157 Walnut Avenue. Additionally, there was a Shot Spotter activation indicating multiple gunshots in the street in front of 163 Walnut Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, identified as Tyquise Timmons, lying on the porch at the front door to 157 Walnut Avenue, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
